		<description>If you REALLY believe in “Don’t drown your food in ketchup and mustard and goo!&quot; -- then how do you explain cranberry sauce? Cranberry sauce is TOTALLY goo. Whereas gravy is not goo. It is gooD. 

I love a good Thanksgiving food fight. But I&#039;m with you on the mac and cheese. Unless it has oysters in it, of course. (Joking. Totally joking. I think.)</description>

		<description>I don&#039;t like gravy and I don&#039;t make pies for Thanksgiving but I LOVE mashed potatoes if done right, by this I mean with whipping cream and lots of butter. 

I&#039;m allergic to mushrooms so I make a green bean casserole different. I use green beans (french cut), homemade alfredo sauce, cheese on top and bacon. It&#039;s so good!!! There is never any left.</description>

Leftover gravy goes into the turkey and dressing soup that we have for dinner on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. (The Friday after is traditionally reserved for Chinese take-out.)

I agree with you on the Mac and Cheese. It&#039;s never been a traditional Thanksgiving dish in my family either. But last year when I decreed that everybody needed to cook a dish instead of lazing around and waiting for me to announce that &lt;del&gt;I am completely exhausted&lt;/del&gt; dinner is ready, my youngest son decided that he was making Mac and Cheese. Shrug. I&#039;m not cooking it at least.</description>

My grandmother would make mincemeat pie. As a result of being born in West Virginia in 1901 she ate some really weird stuff. So between that and Klondike Kat saying, &#039;I&#039;ll make mincemeat out of that mouse,&#039; I always thought mincemeat pie was made from mice. So I&#039;ve never eaten it.</description>
