Stuffed Celery

Filed under: retro food — Tarrant/TW

One of my children loves stuffed celery with a passion. I remember enjoying it as a child, but then put it away with so many childhood things.

She is happy with a stuffing of peanut butter and raisins. (ants on a log as it were) or pimento cheese (which she won’t eat otherwise.) That blue cheese spread from the other day works well too.

But, the one of my childhood had olives minced up and mixed with cream cheese, a touch of paprika, and a bit of sour cream or mayo to thin. It appeals to me now that I have recalled this and I am thinking I just may make it next weekend.
