Pumpkin Jello-Wiggle Wednesday

What? You never have tried pumpkin in your Jell-o? And why not? Give this one a try. Orange! Pumpkin-y! Low-fat if you use the light Cool Whip! Retro chic.

Pumpkin Jell-o

3 ounce package lemon Jello
1 cup hot water
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 cup canned pumpkin; not pie mix
1 small tub Cool Whip
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Dissolve Jello in boiling water; add sugar and spice. Add pumpkin, mixing well. Chill until slightly thickened. Fold in Cool Whip and nuts. Pour into mold or clean bowl and refrigerate until firm

  1. Thank you for this recipe! I believe I know what I’m taking to my in-laws now.

  2. Do you know that Jello has a limited edition pumpkin pie instant pudding out this season? I used it to make a cake.

  3. no! I didn’t. What a fab idea…
    What kind of cake?

  4. Pumpkin spice…yummy!

  5. We will be passing on the pumpkin jello…only because it sounds like pumpkin fluff….and I am not in the mood for fluffs. We will be picking up the pudding if we can find it at the grocery tomorrow. 🙂

  6. This Jello was a huge hit in a very picky family! We all liked it, and the teenage boys were even impressed. We made it sans nuts due to allergies, but it didn’t seem to affect the overall taste.
