Stewed Raisins
All the fun of stewed prunes but smaller. Try adding some lemon peel to the water.
Stewed Raisins
Wash ½ lb. seedless raisins thoroughly in cold water. Barely cover the raisins with water, cover saucepan and let stand one hour. Then simmer until tender about 15 minutes. Serve hot or cold. 5 servings. The Modern Family Cookbook

Really not bad if you use a golden raisin and pair them with a hot cereal.

Throw some raisins in with your oatmeal, and you get this effect quite nicely.

Great song Edward! And yes, you can do it if you make slow oatmeal. Now, that quick oatmeal, they don’t get quite that same stewed puffy-ness!
