Cucumber and Onion Salad
Nice, simple, refreshing, a nice, nice salad. Truly a favorite!
1 large cucumber
Crisp lettuce
¼ cup sliced green onions
â…“ cup French Dressing
Wash, pare and slice cucumber. Trim onions, wash and slice crosswise, then add to cucumbers and toss. Serve in lettuce cups. 5 servings.
If preferred, cucumber slices may be marinated in vinegar diluted with water, drained, then combined with onion and served with mayonnaise or Russian Dressing, instead of French Dressing. The Modern Family Cookbook

Health salad. It will be better if you can post some picture.
I like this simple salad.

I do too. I am simply rotten at taking pictures as I make something fairly routine. I even have a special food camera but somehow it is never around or something. I plan to work on that though! It is on my list of things to do. Really.
Health salad was something else entirely in my house growing up. It involved shredded cabbage, carrots and green peppers as well as cucumbers. Sort of like a “PA Dutch Slaw” with cucumbers added.
