Sorry, I really like creamed veggies, but just maybe not green beans. I find creamed foods very comforting.

I always bought the plain Stouffers Corn Souffle & added swiss or another sharp, aged cheese, but with or without is grand. Do you have that recipe, too? I've already figured I could adapt the carrot recipe pretty easily.

Yeah, I figured it might have been a marketing decision, because it's not something that would have a lot of local appeal. I'm glad to know that Stouffers didn't deep six it. A worthy dish!

Skeeter-do you want a corn souffle recipe with cheese or without? Seems like our grocer still carries frozen corn souffle but maybe only the stouffers spinach. Might just because it is the south and these are so very southern in nature.

Ah Liz- I think they must just be an appealing winter food in days of yesteryear. Ok, so I am a sucker for cheese sauce even now.

Think how odd it must look to someone from the past to see all nature of "buffalo chicken" sandwiches, turkey sandwiches and ranch dressing on salads in today's lunches.

What's up with all those veggies with cheese sauce for ''luncheon''?
And all those dried stewed fruits? Yak!

Carrot Souffle! How wonderful does that sound, and how much more wonderful would it be if you were to share the recipe? I used to buy Stouffers Frozen Corn Souffles. Either they quit making them or my local grocers quit carrying them. I'd love to have a good veggie souffle recipe that I could adapt for whtever vegetables I have on hand.
