I never have actually “come out” on National Coming Out Day. The timing never has been right. When thinking about it this year, I realized that while a subset of you know me and know my family, the larger group of Retro Food readers probably think I am a mom just like them, and I am. But I raise my children in a home with two moms. All very irrelevant to recipes and retro food, which is why I never chat about it. My family structure has little to do with sharing recipes and menus.
