Cajun Pineapple Cake

I have never been sure what made this Cajun, but it sure is a tasty recipe, sort of a cross between a German Chocolate Frosting (coconut, pecan, boiled) and a Pineapple Cake.

Cajun Cake

2 c flour
1½ c sugar
1½ tsp. soda
1 pinch salt
1 can crushed pineapple

Mix and bake in 9 x13 pan 40 minutes in 300 degree oven

Icing

1 c sugar
1 stick margarine
1 small can pet milk

Cook 5 or 6 minutes. Remove from heat and add 1 cup pecans and 1 cup coconut.
