Thousand Island Dressing

Thousand Island Dressing is a term which is used to describe mayonnaise with various additions. Sweet pickle relish, chopped green pepper, sweet red pepper or canned pimiento, chopped stuffed or ripe olives, or chopped hard-cooked eggs are the most usual additions. Any or all of these ingredients may be used in the proportion of 1 part to 2 or 3 parts mayonnaise.  The Modern Family Cookbook
