Baked Prune Pudding

Yet another Prune Recipe for your collection, sure to keep your family regular in a retro kind of way.
1/4 cup cracker crumbs (4 crackers)
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup seeded cooked prunes, drained and chopped
1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1/4 cup evaporated milk
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon melted butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla

Mix cracker crumbs thoroughly wiht the baking poder; then combine with all ingredients thoroughly, and turn into a buttered glass loaf pan. Bake in a moderate oven (350 degrees F.) for 30 minutes. Serve hot with milk or cream. 5 servings.
