Tuna Fish Salad

Filed under: Fish, Recipes, Salads, Sandwiches, retro food — Retro Food

Yum! Tuna. Can I say right now…I hate capers, so if I should ever make tuna again…no capers. And does anyone add lemon juice to their tuna? It sounded odd in a tuna salad recipe but then made sense to me since people often add lemon juice to other fish.
7-oz. can tuna fish
½ cup chopped celery
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1½ teaspoons capers, if desired
¼  cup chopped sweet pickles
â…“  cup mayonnaise or boiled salad dressing
Crisp lettuce

Drain tuna, then flake fish. Add remaining ingredients and toss lightly. Cover tightly and chill. Serve in lettuce cups. 5 servings.
