Kidney Bean Salad
From The Modern Family Cookbook
No. 2 can red kidney beans
1 cup sliced celery
1 tablespoon chopped onion
1/4 cup sweet pickle relish
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard
Crisp lettuce
Mayonnaise
Drain beans discarding juice. Add celery, onion, pickle relish and seasonings to beans and mix throughly, being careful not to mash beans. Chill and serve on crisp lettuce with mayonnaise. This salad may also be used to stuff tomatoes. Serves 3 to 5.

Ummm hang on. Red Kidney Beans and Mayo? Ummm No. No thank you. Hell no. Never.
The rest of it, I like. But no mayo. Yuk.

I personally am not sure about the whole pickle relish. A bit of mayo on the side, I get that.

You are a nut. How can you get the mayo but not the relish?

I like mayo, but think relish only goes on hot dogs with onions.

You should really add a warning to this post. It\’s a dangerous recipe, I should know. Tasty (except for the mayo) but dangerous.
