ΒΌ lb. chipped beef
1 teasoon prepared mustard
5 tablespoons soft butter
10 slices enriched bread
Rinse beef quickly in hot water. Leave pieces whole or shred. Mix mustard and butter, spread on bread; lay beef on half the slices, then cover with remaining slices. A pleasing variation is to chop the beef fine and mix thoroughly with cream cheese to make a sandwich spread. 5 sandwiches.
