Bacon Sandwiches

From The Modern Family Cookbook

10 slices whole wheat bread
1/3 cup soft butter
10 slices bacon, ½ lb.
Radish slices or lettuce

Toast bread, spread immediately with soft butter. Put 2 slices each of broiled or pan-broiled bacon on 5 slices of toast. Add radish slices or lettuce and top with remaining slices of toast. Cut as desired. Serve hot. 5 servings.
