Retro-Food of the Week: Balls

May 30, 2006 by Tarrant Figlio

Yes, that’s right. We are going to grow a pair and cook balls this week. Meatballs, sausage balls, maybe even matzoh balls and those yummy-no cook peanut butter chocolate balls.

No, no, sorry to disappoint you, no family jewels on the menu, if you are interested in recipes for those, click here.

LOL, what about some meatless meatball recipes? J’s (step)mom makes those cookie balls at Christmas and we all fight over how many each of us gets ;)

heh! Grow a pair! You’re funny. Not as funny as I am but funny just the same.

Just don’t talk about rum balls. I don’t understand why people like those.

I haven’t made meatless meatballs. I tend to buy them already made. I believe my dragonwagon cookbook has them though, so maybe I will try making some and share.

I LOVE rum balls. I don’t get why you don’t understand why people like them.

My grandmother makes peanut butter cup balls every Christmas. I need to get that recipe and I am curious to see yours. Yummm!
