  1. Ah, now I know who it was thanking me for the link. Apart from the recipes here, I really like the way you have made the background look like the vinyl (?) tops so reminiscent of fifties and sixties kitchens.

  2. It actually started out as a wordpress theme called Banana Smoothie created by Tommy Juhnke (http://www.van-tomas.de/blog/). As soon as I saw it I had to have it, just because of the countertop look. I pulled the banana smoothie part, popped in my retro woman and blog name. I was really searching for something with a boomerang formica countertop look to it but this actually looks rather like the countertop in my grandmother’s kitchen. Thanks for the compliment even if none of the real design part is my doing.
