Pineapple and Date Salad No.1
From the Modern Family Cookbook
No. 2 can sliced pineapple
1 cup pitted chopped dates
Mayonnaise
Crisp lettuce or endive
Pecan halves
Drain pineapple, cut slices in wedges and mix with dates and Mayonnaise. Cover and Chill. Serve in lettuce cups garnished with a nut. 5 servings.
Note: Use 1 1/2 cups fresh sugared pineapple when in season in place of canned.
