Bacon and Tomato Sandwiches
15 slices bacon
3 medium size tomatoes, peeled
1/4 cup mayonnaise
10 slices buttered bread or toast
5 leaves lettuce
Pan-broil bacon until done. Slice tomatoes rather thick. Spread mayonnaise on the buttered bread. Place a leaf of lettuce on half the slices. On remaining slices arrange tomato and bacon slices. Lay together and serve. For convenience in eating, cut sandwiches in two diagonally. 5 sandwiches.
My Notes: Butter and Mayo? On a BLT? Do you do this? Why peel the tomatoes? Any ideas here?
