Anything I've been to in the last few years was either student-run and usually involved salsa, chi, pizza and lots of beer, or were catered and caterers in the two cities I've lived in don't seem to be on the devilled egg wagon. Lots of spinach dip and smoked salmon, but no devilled eggs. I make them at home sometimes. And then realize I've just eaten 4 eggs in 5 minutes. lol I think it’s more that I rarely go to parties where anything is homemade.
